Increasing The Font Size On This Site

The Opening Door, Inc. has worked hard to make sure our site is universally accessible, especially to persons using screen readers, users who are color blind, or have low vision. To make sure this site is screen reader friendly, no extraneous coding for java scripts and applets has been used. Instead we will show those who need to have the font in a larger size how to do this by using their web browser.

Each browser is different, but here are some tips on text resizing in some of the most popular browsers. You can adjust the font size for your needs not only for this site, but for any other website.

If you’re using a Mac, the process is to hold the Command (“Apple”) key and hit ”+”.). To decrease, simply follow the same procedure and use the ”-” key instead of the ”+.”
